This Mildred Wyatt coastal watercolor brings together rolling surf, circling gulls and a sheltered harbor in an atmospheric, predominantly blue-gray palette. A small sailboat crosses the water at the left, while clustered masts, pilings and waterfront buildings recede into the distance at the right. The large gull sweeping through the foreground links the foaming waves with the quieter harbor beyond.
