Description
Nakamura Nakazō I is shown as a sword master, possibly as Takuma Genryū. The actor leans forward in richly patterned robes, resting a hand on a long sheathed sword, with another sword hilt visible at his waist. His flowing hair, intent expression and layered costume give the figure a commanding presence.
The color woodblock print belongs to Edo-period Japan and uses ink and color on paper.
