Description
Gustav Klimt’s Farm Garden with Crucifix fills a square view with stems, leaves, and brightly colored flowers. A small roofed shrine appears within the dense planting, partly absorbed into the surrounding greenery. The surface is patterned with many rounded blossoms and slender verticals.
The garden offers little empty space, making the flowers feel abundant and close. Klimt balances their varied colors through repeated small shapes, while the shrine supplies a quiet structural focus. The painting turns a rural corner into a richly woven decorative field.
